BOOKING OF EQUIPMENT T&C'S

1. A responsible person capable of exercising authority over children should supervise the equipment at all times. They should be on hand at all times whilst the equipment is in operation; i.e., an adult 18+

2. All shoes and especially sharp objects including, but not limited to, toys or glasses, must not be allowed on the Equipment, nor should silly string, streamers or face paints be allowed.

3. Funday cannot be held responsible if a price that has been quoted requires amendments if either has been quoted wrong or details supplied to us are different to the verbal enquiry.

4. The person(s) hiring the equipment, whether they be the recipient of the equipment or the person responsible for engaging Funday Entertainment Ltd, shall take full liability for any wilful damage caused to, or theft of, the equipment whilst hired to them. You must at all times be ready to evacuate and deflate the inflatables if the winds are too strong for everyone's safety. This can be done by either purchasing a wind meter or using your discretion. Health and safety says 24 mph is dangerous. This includes damage where alcohol has been a contributing factor.

5. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure the equipment is not overloaded to the detriment of the user’s safety or the failure of the equipment. All sizes of the equipment you are hiring are on our website and will require an extra 2ft all around due to safety. If failure to adhere to this will result in your activities not being set up and no refund will be offered

6. Some inflatables have age restrictions, which you will be advised of when booking. Rodeo bulls and all other multi-rides are for persons over 1.2 m tall and can climb on the rodeo without any help .

7. The designated supervisor of Funday's equipment must ensure that no person climbs on any safety walls or roofs other than in the supervised process of erecting or dismantling the equipment.

8. All units come with electric fans. Petrol fans are available at an extra cost. Petrol is not supplied and its provision is the sole responsibility of the hirer.

9. When hiring items from Funday Entertainment Limited, the hirer is only insured when a member of Funday staff is present and running the equipment. If the Equipment is Deemed as a "Dry Hire", The Hirer will be responsible for any Incidents that may occur at your event. Funday staff are more than happy in supervising and taking money from the public. If children are not behaving correctly and will not listen to our staff, we will ask the hirer to help assist in the safe running of this activity. At no time will Funday staff be held responsible to carry on running the activity when children are not adhering to the safety advice given. The item will be closed down and the person in charge of the event will be asked to assist with this matter before opening again. Funday Entertainment Ltd will do our best to ensure that the event is suitably staffed and shall use all reasonable endeavors to ensure that the items are only used when a Funday member of staff is present. If the hirer will not assist the closed item will not be reopened. A refund will not be given.

10. When hiring an item that is being supervised by a Funday member of staff. This will be for a 4 hour period unless agreed otherwise. This is shown by the start and finish times on your contract.

11. When using any of Funday Entertainments equipment, you do so at your own risk, Funday will not take any responsibility for any injury caused while using any of our equipment whether the item is supervised or unsupervised. With all activities, there is a element of risk involved.

12. The Hirer is responsible for the safety of all persons attending their event, this will include a brief and safety information (ie. signage, disclaimer ect) for all guest on the element of risks involved before using any of the equipment hired from Funday.

13. When hiring a Rodeo unit please ensure you have a clear access of 33 inches or wider to get the base unit through. If the base unit cannot fit through the passage, the item CANNOT be used, no refund will be given.

14. If a Funday vehicle was to break down on the way to your event we have RAC breakdown to come and fix all our vehicles, however, some times they cannot get us back on the road to carry on our journey to get to your event. we will contact you in any case of break down and also try to arrange another vehicle to come and collect your activities so we don't let you down, this may not always be possible. we cannot be held responsible if this was to happen. A full refund would be offered back to you.

15. Funday Operate a "Zero Tolerance Policy" with regards to abuse towards our staff. if any of the Funday staff feel they are being treated abusively or disrespected in any way, the equipment will be shut down until the situation is resolved, if no resolution is made, we have the right to pack away the equipment and leave the site. if our staff are assaulted by any member of your event, police will be made aware to take action on the offence. there will be no refund offered for this and charges may be brought to the offender.

16. For safety of users, the items must be deflated when the wind exceeds Beaufort Scale 5. (19 - 24mph).

17. Trailing Cables - in the event of any trailing cables needing to be covered, we will need to know prior to the event so we can bring suitable covers with us, if not, you will need to provide these at the venue. depending on the surface of the floor, Tape can be used, but Funday will not be responsible for any damage this may cause when removed

Location and Conduct of Equipment

The equipment MUST NOT be moved from the agreed venue without prior consent from Funday Entertainment Ltd.

1. Public liability cover shall be deemed invalid if the equipment is tampered with in any way by persons other than employees of Funday Entertainment Ltd or if used inappropriately after advised by Funday Entertainment Ltd staff.

2. Extension leads are to be connected by Funday Entertainment Ltd staff. At all times the equipment remains the property of Funday Entertainment Ltd and shall not be hired out or otherwise distributed without the written consent of Funday Entertainment Ltd

3. Funday Entertainment Limited and their employees are not responsible for any damage or accidents caused by any misconduct by the hirer or any lack of care or attention on the part of the hirer

4. Public liability insurance will be invalid if a Funday Entertainment Ltd operative is not present at the equipment used, unless the aforementioned circumstance had been previously agreed with Funday Entertainment Ltd prior to the equipment’s deployment at the hirer’s venue.

5. Funday Entertainment Limited reserve the right to refuse delivery if the venue or site is deemed to be unsafe or unsuitable by our delivery personnel acting reasonably, or if the client has failed to notify. The area which we are to set up on must not be damaged, the Hirer must ensure they have made all provisions or Funday cannot be held responsible for any damage. Any delivery obstructions such as stairs or excessive unloading distances from our vehicle to the installation site. In such a case no refund will be given and the full hire fee will be due.

6. Hired equipment will be set up in one location only as agreed on arrival and will not be moved once unloaded.

7. The company reserves the right to cease operation and remove hired equipment from site if at any time a representative of the company feels that guests or clients conduct endangers the safety of the guests, clients, themselves or the safety of the hired equipment. In such cases no refund will be given and full contracted fees will be due to the company.

8. We cannot be held responsible for being late at your event due to traffic congestion. i.e. road accidents. We always add an hour on our journey for traffic inconveniences. In the event of traffic or other uncontrollable circumstances preventing us from being able to fulfil our contracted obligations our liability shall be limited to a refund of any monies paid in relation to the contracted event or a pro-rata reduction in the hire fee in the event of delayed start. No further compensation will be paid irrespective of any loss of earnings.

9. If , on collection, our items are not in the condition as they were left in when we set-up, i.e ball pond balls, footballs ect, there will be an extra £200 charge, this will be invoiced after the event and payment will need to be made within 7 days.

10. If parking is not available, an extra charge will be made to pay for a meter/car park at the daily rate. If parking is provided and we receive a parking fine, this will be passed on to the client for immediate payment.

Please Note:- Some Parking Meters have a set time limit, this means that we may have to move the vehicle during the event which will result in us having to close the activity for a short while.

11. By completing the booking form regardless of whether a booking contract has been returned or a deposit been paid it is deemed that the customer has read, understood, fully agreed and is bound by all our terms and conditions of hire.

12. Any event taking place within the A Congestion Zone will incur an additional charge under the new Government "Clean Air" Surcharge, This will be added to the quotation upon checking the Congestion Charge box when booking

13. On occasions during busy season, Funday may sometimes outsource their equipment, this means that the item being delivered to your event may not be the exact one we have on our site, if we feel that the replacement item will differ significantly then we will send you a picture of the replacement for you to make the decision.

14. When delivering and collecting the items from any venue, The onus will be on yourself to allow us to manoeuvre any equipment though the venue and we will not be held responsible for any damage caused

Fraud Warning

Cyber Attacks are getting high in the UK and we are aware that some clients may be effected by it, this may be through email or other ways.

We at Funday will never email you bank details to make payment, we only send out an invoice with all our payment details on.

If you have received such an email from us, please contact us straight away on the numbers below, please do not reply to the email or make any payment to any account stated in the email.*

If you want to make a payment to us, Please feel free to call us before hand to double check the account details you have for us.*

If you have received something from us through our email, we urge you to have your security checked as they may have been compromised too.

*please be aware that we will not be held responsible for any payments made to any account not listed on our Invoice and you will have to take this up with the fraud team and your bank, Please make sure you call us to confirm all details are correct before making any payment to us.

Prices, Deposit and Balance

1. All hires are subject to a deposit of 25% which is required when booking which is non-refundable.

2. Full payment is required to be paid and cleared 14 working days prior to your event date. Failure to pay within this time will result in your booking being cancelled and any payments already made will not be refunded

3. Terms for approved account clients are 30 days from event date.

4. The company reserves the right to implement interest charges on any overdue account at 3% above its banker’s current interest rate.

5. If payment is being collected on the day, we will require this to be paid once you are happy with the setup, we will not run the activities until payment has been made

Cancellation Details

In the event of inclement weather, the hirer is responsible for the full cost of booking whether the booking takes place or not. The Hirer has the right to cancel there event for what ever reason but will still need to be paid in full if it is within 7 working days of there event date. Funday staff will wait until the weather is suitable to set up or if rain carries on and the ground is too wet to set up on. Funday have the right to refuse set up on the grounds of electrical and unsafe items. Where an ice rink has been ordered and the weather is bad or the weather report confirms bad weather we cannot be held responsible for this in any way. If the ice rink can be set up under cover or inside then it can go ahead. If the grass is too wet the rink will sink and be too dangerous to use and normally cannot even be set up unless a sub flooring is supplied.

The Hirer will take full responsibility for full payment if you wish to cancel your event . When you have received our booking confirmation, our terms can be read if you wish to do so. Funday and the Hirer have agreed into a binding contract that if you cancel, we still get paid in full. If Funday do not turn up at your event, for any fault of our own, we will refund you in full. Once you have placed your booking with Funday, we then cannot hire your items out to any other customer.

  • Non-refundable deposit of 25% is required when booking.
  • If cancelling within one month prior to date will be 50% of balance.
  • If cancelling within two weeks prior to date will be 75% of balance.
  • If cancelling within one week prior to date will be 100% of balance.

In the rare instances that the event has to be postponed or moved to another day, there may be an extra charge to cover any expense we have already paid out, be it vehicle rental or staff hire costs, generator hire, perishable food items, entertainers or acts. The hirer will be responsible to cover these charges.

Special Requirements

If the item you are hiring is to be placed anywhere other than on a level grass area, free from obstruction, other than within 10 metres of an electrical power supply, we must be informed prior to the day of delivery so that any additional safety equipment can be provided; the onus of which will be on the hirer, if this is not the case.

If you have hired a Water item with us, we would need an outside tap that is no more than 10 meters away from the item location, failure to supply this will end up with the event being cancelled with us with no Refund given.

Anchorage

With health and safety in mind, all items have to be secured to the ground by either, 20 inch long stakes and in some occasions 26 inch long stakes for slides or larger inflatables

On hard standing, we can use anchor bolts which are drilled 6 inches into the ground

Please make sure that the area where the items are to be placed is free from underground cables, water pipes ect, if in the unlikely event that we strike any underground cables/pipes, and we do not have a prior warning, Funday will not be held responsible for any damage caused
